Ricochet fez história este fim-de-semana ao derrotar Johnny Gargano no iPPV Open The Ultimate Gate para se tornar o quarto Open The Freedom Gate Champion na Dragon Gate USA
Ricochet terminou o reinado de Gargano que durava há dois anos e meio e que assim era o maior reinado da história do wrestling moderno. Ricochet que é o actual Open The Dream Gate Title, torna-se o único lutador a deter em simultâneo os maiores títulos da Dragon Gate e Dragon Gate USA.
